Long or thick hair takes longer, so prices marked "from" get confirmed in the chair, before we start. You'll never find out at the till.
Hi, I'm Hana. I opened Loquat in the old barbershop on this lane and kept the chairs. I didn't plant the tree: it was already here, and it still drops fruit on the step every spring.
We only have three chairs, and that's on purpose. You see the same person every time, nobody gets double-booked, and there's always time for the head massage at the basin.
If you're having colour done, there's tea while it develops. If you're not sure what you want, book a short cut and we'll work it out together in the chair. Nobody gets talked into a treatment they didn't ask for.

You see the same person every visit. Each of us has the thing we're best at, so here's who to ask for.
Cuts, especially short ones.
Hana opened the studio and does most of the short cuts: bobs, pixies, crops, and the slow job of growing out a fringe without hating it. She'll ask how you actually do your hair in the morning, then cut for that.
Colour, from a gloss to a full balayage.
Theo does the colour. He likes hand-painted work that grows out softly, so you're not back every five weeks for roots. If it's your first colour with him, book the free colour chat and bring a photo of what you like.
Perms, curls and long hair.
Joy has been perming hair longer than the rest of us have been cutting it. Soft waves, digital perms, and curly cuts done dry so you can see the shape as it goes. She'll want to know about any colour in the last six months.
